Dear Esteemed Sons and Daughters of Owerri Zone,
I’m writing to humbly appeal for your support and partnership with nde Okigwe Zone in producing the next Governor of Imo State, with a special focus on Chief Ikedi Ohakim.
Given his truncated tenure and constitutional limitations, Ohakim’s experience and achievements make him an ideal candidate for the top seat in 2027.
Ikedi Ohakim’s Credentials
- Proven Leadership: Ohakim served as Imo State Governor from 2007 to 2011, implementing notable initiatives like the “Clean and Green” program.
- Strong Political Foothold*: His leadership style and positive impact during his tenure have earned him a significant followership in every community, ward and village in the entire state.
- Unfinished Tenure: Ohakim’s tenure was truncated due to conspiracy and falsehood propaganda , and he is now constitutionally limited to only four years in office, thus making the way shorter and easier for nde Owere zone to take over at the end of his term .
A Compassionate Appeal
By teaming up with Nde Okigwe Zone and particularly supporting Ohakim’s candidacy, Owerri Zone can foster unity, promote collective progress, and ensure fairness in Imo State’s political landscape.
Let’s join hands to create a brighter future for Imo State.
Some analysts have argued that if Ohakim hadn’t been unjustly toppled, he would have completed his second tenure, making way for Owerri Zone to take over. This potential partnership could be a Game-Changer for Imo State’s Governance.
Okigwe zone just like Owerri zone have so many prominent and qualified indigenes that are able and capable to serve ndi imo as governor but we are advocating for Ohakim based on his experience, exposure to governance and he is constitutionally limited to only one term in office.
Finally, bikonu umunnem nde owere anyi, let’s join hands to make this vision a reality.
I believe that together, Owerri and Okigwe Zones can produce a governor who will drive progress, promote unity, and ensure the well-being of all Imo citizens.
Meanwhile, i will not hesitate to use this opportunity to wish Happy Easter to our dear brothers and sisters of Owerri and Okigwe Zones!
As we celebrate the Resurrection Of JESUS CHRIST our LORD And SAVIOUR, let us Reflect on the values of Forgiveness, Love, and Peace that HE Embodied.
May these values guide us as we navigate the complexities of the 2027 Imo governorship election.
Let us prioritize unity, understanding, and mutual respect, recognizing that our shared humanity transcends zone affiliations.
As Romans 5:8 reminds us, “GOD Showed HIS Great Love for us by Sending CHRIST JESUS to die for us while we were still sinners.”
May this Love inspire us to Forgive, to seek Peace, and to Support one another in our pursuit of progress and development.
